Through chance and fortune a group of international female entrepreneurs has crossed paths and come together here in Turku. All individuals, though unique in their approach, have the united objective to share and increase female health awareness. I feel very honored to be part of this group, representing my doula and childbirth education work. Let me share you something about our most recent Female Health Talk.
Aiko Ota offers private yoga classes, women's health coaching and support on one's path to menstrual harmony. During her Female Health talk, on the 26th of May at Café Chingon in the centre of Turku, she shared with us her journey towards becoming a yoga teacher following the menstrual cycle. Aiko also offers ayurvedic counselling, helping find her customers ayurveda body type, finding imbalances and working on them by sharing advice and lifestyle tips.
A wonderful giveaway of the talk was the wisdom of experiencing different seasons during one's menstrual cycle.
The inner winter during menstruation. The phase of wisdom and calm.
The inner spring during the follicular phase. The season of new beginnings, inspiration and a newfound state of energy.
The inner summer during ovulation. The state of confidence and beauty.
The inner autumn during the luteal phase. The season of fragility, closing down, turning back inwards.

Aiko Ota tarjoaa yksityisiä joogatunteja, terveysvalmennusta ja tukea sisäisen harmonian löytämiseen. Female Health -puheessaan 26. toukokuuta Café Chingonissa Turun keskustassa, hän kertoi meille matkastaan kohti joogaopettajan uraa. Aiko opettaa yksilöitä joogaamaan kuukautiskierron vaiheiden mukaisesti. Hän tarjoaa myös ayurvedaneuvontaa ja auttaa asiakkaitaan löytämään oman ayurveda-vartalotyypin, löytämään sisäisten epätasapainon lähteitä ja työstämällä niitä jakamalla neuvoja ja elämäntapavinkkejä.

Sisäinen syksy luteaalivaiheen aikana. Sulkeutumisen ja sisäänpäin kääntymisen kausi.
